Rewriting PLR Articles And PLR Ebooks: Who Should Do The Work?

PLR (Private Label Rights) ebooks and articles are great materials for making an internet business really lucrative; or, if already successful, even more so. By using texts that are already composed, one may speed up the process of disseminating those texts in a variety of places: as online articles, ebooks, or even as printed books.

The trouble is, however, that exploiting PLR material is not as painless or fast as many are trying to make it sound. For instance, those who promote PLR content, and those who do business in the PLR world, many times wish to say that the method of using PLR content is an easy road to victory. But that’s not necessarily the case.

The Problem

The problem is this: in order to make the most of it, one must thoroughly edit the PLR content to a considerable extent, not just slightly. This is to make sure that the search engine robots are going to index the material favourably, as well as to assure that the audience are not presented with articles and e-books that they have already read in another place.

So the challenge is to learn the art of rewriting PLR articles and e-books so that the material will be to a large extent unique. One could rearrange paragraphs or even remove paragraphs. Or one could enlarge paragraphs or add new valid points, arguments, reasons, data, or questions. Or one might choose to insert illustrations, graphs, photographs, or videos. Or just about anything to make the article or ebook have a special feel.

But Who Has the Time to Do It?

But you may now ask yourself: “How in the whole world can I practically have time for that? I mean, I bought the Private Label Rights products originally to steer clear of having to do a lot of work. So why am I now facing the very same labor that I tried to keep away from?”

It is true, of course, that the type of work involved in modifying a PLR ebook or PLR article might be alike. But the actual quantity of work is not very similar. Editing a PLR ebook or PLR article, even with a rather extensive rewrite, is a great deal less time-consuming and aching than writing everything from the ground up.

Moreover, you might not need to do all that rewriting yourself either. You may use the help of other parties to finish off the rewriting process.

Here are some possible options so that you may get the rewriting and rearranging of your PLR article or PLR ebook completed: (1) Use software; (2) Use a ghostwriter; (3) Use a guest blogger; (4) the work yourself.

1. Utilize Software

Some software products in the market might be programmed to alter (also called “to spin”) PLR articles and e-books to create new articles and e-books. But it is advisable to be very watchful. Some software systems may change the “feeling of the article or e-book, or use badly chosen synonyms for expressions that either could change your ebook or article into garbage or at least make it seem odd in some sense.

It is for that reason virtually at all times crucial to check the newly generated content by hand after it has been through the software program. It is quite possible that you may have to take a new round of rewriting and rearranging after the content has been “spinned”.

2. Hire a Ghostwriter

Engaging a skilled ghostwriter to create entirely innovative material to a website may be nearly unworkable for a new site owner, since truly original material may be expensive.

Nonetheless, since you already have acquired the Private Label Rights e-books or articles, the idea is not to write original content from the ground up, but only to do some editing using different words, and maybe also elaborating on a number of of the data here and there.

It might be a useful idea to collect a dozen or two Private Label Rights articles at a time (or a whole Private Label Rights ebook), and then ask the freelancer for a “package price” for the full set. That way you could be able to get a better quote per page than if you just submitted one or two single articles.

3. Ask a Guest Blog Writer

Perhaps you may like to contact a guest blogger to write on your website? You could tell him or her that you have private label rights material that she or he can draw on. That way you will be able to generate fresh material for the blog without you being involved in any rewriting and rearranging of your own.

The problem with this idea might be, of course, that the ghostwriter may expect to get paid, or to be able to include some links to their own sites and blogs, or ask for some other compensation. You will have to see what the deal is, and then determine whether or not you think the specific arrangement is acceptable to you.

4. Do It All by Yourself

In case you are truly into writing, rewriting and editing (or at least are willing to do it even if you do not love it), you might consider doing all (or some of) the rewriting on your own. In any case, modifying a quality private label rights article or ebook is considerably less problematic than writing everything from scratch.

The benefit of doing the work yourself is that you have complete control over the end outcome, both stylistically and in terms of the individual points, arguments, conclusions, and data. Supposedly you also have direct knowledge of whatever area it is that your articles and e-books are covering, and as a result you may probably be well suited to edit the PLR texts faster than a writer who doesn’t have your particular background.

Wrapping up

PLR articles and e-books are great resources. However, they have got to be significantly reworked to be productively used in your business.

The good news is that you don’t unavoidably have to do all of the rewriting and rearranging yourself (but the outcome may be superior if you do). Other ways to produce a modification of the PLR material would be to use special “spin” software application, to hire freelance ghost writers, or to contact a guest blogger.

So go ahead and fill your site or blog with great, uniquely rewritten and sensitively repurposed PLR content. Your customers will appreciate it!
